It isn’t the drugs.
Dad’s cognitive abilities are now slipping by the day, and I had thought that this was because of the advanced regimen of pain killers the doctor and hospice nurses have put him on. Today the doctor explained that this wasn’t the case, and any slip are more likely related to the spreading of the cancer.
Cancer travels from an organ, into the lymph-nodes, then into the brain and everywhere else it can get to.
Like Hannibal Lecter, cancer is such an enviously ambitious killer.
