Dad Is Dying

"If something should happen to me - you know - if I die - the money is hidden in a Thermos in the ceiling. Sell the gun collection, take the money, and don't tell anyone about it."

When I was 12, my father, then 65, started telling me things like this. I'm 25 now, he's 78, and now he's actually dying.
